Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM (occasional overtime/weekend work may apply)

Position Summary:

The Construction Freight Truck Driver will be responsible for the safe, timely delivery and collection of construction materials, tools, and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction logistics, excellent driving skills, and the ability to support material handling at job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport construction materials, equipment, and waste safely to and from various job sites.

  • Load and unload freight manually or using forklifts, ensuring no damage occurs.

  • Confirm accuracy of delivery orders and promptly report discrepancies.

  • Support on-site teams with efficient material handling and coordination.

  • Maintain truck roadworthiness and perform daily checks.

  • Uphold strict safety and PPE protocols at all times.

  • Assist with warehouse and storage area organization during downtime.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Heavy-Duty Truck Driver’s License.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial or construction-related driving.

  • Familiarity with construction materials (e.g., timber, gypsum, cement, scaffolding).

  • Forklift experience is a plus.

  • Strong communication, time management, and basic numeracy skills.

  • Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials.

  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-oriented.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Daily Rate: BBD $120 – $160 (based on experience)

  • Overtime: Time and a half (BBD $180 – $240 per day)

  • Performance Bonus: Up to BBD $200/month

  • Annual Leave: 15 paid days

  • Sick Leave: As per national legislation
