Job Title: Junior Accountant (ACCA Qualified)

About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant (ACCA Qualified) to join their growing team. This role carries significant responsibility, overseeing multiple entities within the group and ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of all accounting and financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements for the group.
- Ensure accurate, timely reporting in compliance with IFRS and local standards.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide performance reports to management.
- Assist with management reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions (AP/AR, payroll, general ledger).
- Supervise reconciliations of bank and financial accounts.
- Maintain compliance with tax laws, VAT, and BRA requirements.
- Manage cash flow, billing, expense tracking, and overseas payments (including Central Bank applications).
- Maintain and improve accounting and inventory systems.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management.
Qualifications & Experience
- ACCA qualification (required).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior accounting role, ideally across multiple entities.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, local tax laws, and compliance.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software, Excel, and financial reporting systems.
