We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Baker to join our pizza restaurant team. The Baker will be responsible for preparing high-quality dough and baked goods in accordance with our recipes and standards. This role is essential to ensuring the quality and consistency of our pizza crusts, breads, and other baked items.
Prepare and bake fresh pizza dough daily according to restaurant recipes and standards.
Mix, knead, proof, and shape dough to ensure ideal texture and taste.
Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure consistency and prevent over/underbaking.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking station and equipment.
Track inventory and communicate ingredient shortages to management.
Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
Assist with developing and testing new recipes when required.
Label and store all baked goods appropriately.
Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation.
Proven experience as a baker or in a similar role; pizza dough experience is highly preferred.
Solid knowledge of baking techniques, dough proofing, and temperature control.
Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Strong attention to detail and consistency.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy bags of flour and ingredients.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; formal culinary or baking training is a plus.
