We are seeking a talented and professional Nail Technician to join our upscale salon team in Barbados. The ideal candidate must be experienced in providing a full range of nail services, including manicures, pedicures, gel polish, and acrylic enhancements. The Nail Technician should be passionate about beauty, dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service, and committed to upholding the highest hygiene and salon standards.
Perform manicures and pedicures, including gel polish and acrylic nail application and removal.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all tools and workstations according to salon standards.
Provide expert advice on nail care, maintenance, and available products.
Build lasting relationships with clients through professional service and personalized recommendations.
Stay up to date with the latest trends, techniques, and products in nail care.
Manage booking schedules and ensure timely service for all clients.
Upsell services and retail products where appropriate.
Maintain a clean, polished, and professional appearance at all times.
Requirements:
Certification or diploma in nail technology or cosmetology.
Proven experience with gel polish, acrylic nails, nail art, and spa-quality nail services.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
High level of attention to detail and creativity.
Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and safety procedures.
