Industry: Vending Machine Operations
Location: Barbados
We are seeking a hands-on and results-driven Assistant Operations Manager to support the daily operations and growth of a vending machine business in Barbados. This role is ideal for someone with previous supervisory or operations experience who is comfortable managing people, processes, and on-the-ground operations in a fast-paced environment.
Support the General Manager in overseeing daily business operations
Supervise and coordinate operational staff, including drivers, technicians, and support personnel
Assist with route planning, stock replenishment schedules, and machine servicing logistics
Monitor inventory levels, product performance, and operational efficiency
Ensure vending machines are maintained, serviced, and operational at all times
Handle operational issues, customer concerns, and service escalations as needed
Assist with reporting, performance tracking, and continuous process improvement
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
Previous supervisory or operations management experience (required)
Experience in logistics, retail operations, facilities management, or a similar field is an asset
Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
Comfortable with hands-on operational work and field-based oversight
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in basic computer applications and reporting tools
Valid driver’s licence is an asset
Reliable, proactive, and solutions-oriented
Strong people-management and coordination skills
Operationally minded with attention to detail
Willing to take initiative and support business growth
